Spring is almost here!

Our first spring here we decided to get some chicks to raise. We ordered 15 female chicks from a hatchery and waited for our package to come in the mail. One day we got the call from the post office that there was a peeping box with our name on it!

I loaded the kids in the car and went to pick them up. It was an exciting day for the Parkers!

 We raised them in the dining room for the first few weeks until they were ready to go out into the coop we made out of an old shed and the run we attached to it.

 We were also enjoying the wildlife we were seeing in our yard. There were deer,wild turkeys, foxes and raccoons right outside our door.
